How it is designed to work

A loop, not a one-way feed. Each trip around it leaves the catalog more accurate for everyone on it.

  1. Start at the source

    The manufacturer's own catalog information is the source of truth. Brands and part numbers are matched, so one real part is one record.

  2. Check and confirm

    Every value is checked and tied to where it came from. Where sources disagree, it says so, and people review what is flagged, the manufacturer included.

  3. Reach everyone downstream

    Distributors, wholesalers, online stores and retail receive the same current, checked data, and it follows the manufacturer when they change something.

  4. Send what is learned back

    What sellers and marketplaces find wrong goes back to the manufacturer, with the consent of whoever raised it, to be fixed at the source for all.
